One of the most valuable things I can give a family is a little breathing room. Your student needs to develop ownership of the process. You shouldn't have to spend your evenings arguing about college lists, essays, deadlines, and whether they checked their email.
I've run Path to Admissions since 2013, working virtually with families across the country from my base in Central Texas. I work with high school students through their freshman year of college. I keep my caseload small on purpose.
Whether your student knows exactly what they want to study or hasn't figured it out at all, I will help them understand the relationship between who they are → what they might study → what careers those paths can lead to → which colleges make sense.
A structured week, built for attention
My week runs on a rhythm. Monday mornings I review every senior on my roster: who I've met with recently, who's waiting on a response, who I haven't heard from in a while. I check the calendar forward from there to prepare for what's coming.
Meetings are capped at three a day, five in August when the calendar gets tight, so every session gets real attention instead of getting rushed. Every meeting produces a recap email to the student with clear next steps, and parents are copied on all written communication. Families are my priority, and being available to each of them is one way my practice is different.
Certified Educational Planner
I am one of roughly 18 Certified Educational Planners in Texas and about 272 nationally. Earning the CEP credential meant personally visiting more than 100 college campuses, along with ongoing continuing education and a peer review process. I hold professional membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling.

Finding the right college for each student
Fit matters more to me than name recognition. If a family's only goal is chasing prestige, I'll say so directly and point them toward a consultant better suited to that request. My job is to help your student land somewhere that's genuinely the right fit, not just a recognizable name.
