Strategy Session $500
I will cover topics of your choice. Colleges that would be good options for your student. Application questions. What does the application timeline look like? Overview of holistic admissions, UT admissions, Texas A&M admissions. Your choice!
I will need you to complete some information for me about your student prior to the session and also provide me with an unofficial transcript.
I am available to you for up to 90 minutes. You will walk away with more information and feel more confident. Families who use this session for a student in middle school or during their freshman year of high school will have priority for either of my ongoing college packages.
This meeting may be booked once. It is not meant to replace a full college counseling curriculum. Use the contact me form and I'll send the link and more about the information I'll need prior to our meeting!
Writing support
My associate counselor, Mrs. Sherry, also offers additional writing support during the application season.
Writing support includes:
- brainstorming
- explanation of what colleges look for in both main essay and supplemental essays
- explanation of how to research answers for the supplemental essays
- edits,comments on final drafts
PTA counselors will not:
- write essays or make broad edits that re-write content
- edit or comment if a parent or other outside helper has access
We do allow students to use AI to help them with ways to express themself, but if we feel the essay is entirely generated through AI, we will ask if this is the way your student wants to portray
themselves to colleges. AI generated essays are not an honest or ethical way of applying to a university.
$150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
