STUDENT centered WORKSHOPS are the backbone and highlight this program. Each session has been carefully planned. Mrs. G will cover, discuss, and answer questions on:

• What colleges look for in a student
• Standardized testing and test prep
• Researching schools where they can be successful
• Discovering possible majors and future careers
• College visits and tours
• Building a resume for college
• College applications, essays, and short answers
• Honors programs, scholarships, financial aid

Each workshop will last about an hour.

The dates have been set.

If you cannot attend in person, students will have access to the recording, sent by email.

The group size is limited to 10 so that the students will have opportunity for discussion and questions.

• Student portal that will be your gateway to school information and checklists
• Aptitude assessment to inspire or give confidence in major choice
• Library of resources.
• Access to Mrs. G’s Google drive of documents and information

OFFICE HOURS

Students will have access to drop in office hours during the month of August to ask specific questions on their applications and essays. Dates TBA.

COLLEGE SELECTION

Each family will be invited to an individual meeting to review, discuss and consider the student's potential college list. A discussion of predicticted admission probabilities will be given to the student.
